The
True Eternity of Life and the Freedom of Man
--- Foreword to Book
Have you ever imagined
what the future world will be like?
I am sure there are many people who
would freely answer yes.
Can you imagine being part of a
wonderful world of the future?
That is a more difficult question to
answer.
Though I have had many experiences, yet
I, as a man who lives in reality, still do not dare to make an affirmative
reply. Yet Pan Gu[1]
gives a clear answer for all people: it is possible for everybody to be
admitted into the future eternal world. What counts is one’s own effort.
How nice it sounds—“What counts is one’s
own effort”! How can we do our best?
You will know the answer after reading
this book.
What do you imagine the standard would be
for qualifying for this future world? Have you ever considered in detail
how such a world would work? Can you conceive the kind of wondrous future
that is described in this book? As for me, I was truly excited when Pan
Gu revealed it in my mind, as it was indeed the finest—a perfect—world.
Yet at the same time the extreme beauty of it aroused a suspicion within
me: could it really come true?
Why this suspicion? Because the image of
this future world is so far from the reality that mankind has experienced
since the beginning of its existence: we people have been so miserable,
how could we possibly even imagine such a wonderful world? Doesn’t it go
against all normal thinking?
Nevertheless, after more than ten years
of agonizing torture I have come to think that such a wonderful world can
come true, for it will represent the product of mankind’s incalculable
blood and tears, our distress and suffering, as well as the
crystallization of all our efforts to achieve a state of benevolence as we
undergo difficult and bitter tempering.
May all people who have suffered tortures
in this world enter into that eternal world!
