The Path of Life

The reading notes on the Path of Life below are written by Willow Calm, Vincent Chu, and Donna Selby; and finally edited by Robert Anderson. They have read the entire book for many times and written down some valuable reading notes to share with other readers. If you have any question and feedback on their opinions, please feel free to email us at info@pangu.org, we are more than happy to forward your message to them. You may also share your opinions on our forum online. Please note that the reading notes do not represent the standpoint of the Path of Life and Pan Gu Shengong.

The book The Path of Life for our understanding -- Reading Notes (2)

Pan Gu Mystical Qigong, accompanied by the book The Path of Life, came into this world more than fifteen years ago and has had a miraculous effect in treating many patients who had been given no hope by doctors and hospital staff, but who received new life as they turned their eyes to Pan Gu Mystical Qigong.

The physical movements of Pan Gu Mystical Qigong are rather simple, yet based as it is upon The Path of Life it contains a complete and comprehensive philosophy.  In its practice, by reciting two phrases—“Take kindness and benevolence as basis, take frankness and friendliness to heart”—one can absorb energy directly from outside oneself; by following its directions—rotating the hands on each side (sun on one, moon on the other) twenty-six times—a miracle happens.  It is understood that in the first stage of diligent practice the effect will be feeling more energy; in the second stage, chronic or common diseases will be cured or, at the least one’s condition will improve; in the third stage, serious diseases will be cured or will stop developing.  For a common person he/she will feel rejuvenated and will look younger.  Then in the fourth stage, as we understand The Path of Life tells us, by experiencing the agony associated with the tempering of one’s spirit, the practitioner’s spirit will become sublimated and will be eligible to enter into the future eternal world.  It seems like a myth, but it is possible and practical.  Well will discuss this aspect later.

Master Ou has told us that he created this qigong by consulting in his mind with Pan Gu; as a result Master Ou named it Pan Gu Mystical Qigong.  As teachers of the “mystical” qigong to others, we have asked Master Ou how to explain Pan Gu to the learners.  The master’s answer is: “Pan Gu is the name of the Creator in Chinese.”  By reading The Path of Life, we learn that Creator Pan Gu has had many personifications.  The world we human beings are now living in, according to The Path of Life, was created by the twenty-sixth personification of Pan Gu, so when we do Pan Gu Mystical Qigong we rotate the sun and moon twenty-six times.  It seems like a fairy tale that is not easy for people to believe, but they can have no doubts about the qigong’s real effect of curing many patients.  So naturally when one gets cured of one’s disease, one will wonder whether Pan Gu the Great and Pan Gu the 26th really exist.  According to Chinese mythology, Pan Gu originally established heaven and earth—but was Pan Gu really the Creator of the universe and the human world?

In any case, a miracle happened: a practitioner of Pan Gu Mystical Qigong, Mr. Zheng, an expert in the ancient Chinese book I Jing (The Book of Changes), discovered that the number of strokes in the Chinese characters that make up the name of Pan Gu is twenty-six--by the I Jing counting method.  This should give people a hint that the story of Pan Gu might be true.

Another practitioner, Miss Yuan, who graduated from Zongshan University in Guangzhou with a master’s degree in mathematics, emigrated to Australia.  Before she left she wondered how to explain to Australians who Pan Gu is when she introduces them to this qigong.  But knowing Pan Gu is the Creator, she departed for Sydney.  A few months later she wrote a letter back, saying that she herself discovered by chance that in the English alphabet, talking the word “God,” G is the seventh letter, O is the fifteenth, and D the fourth—7+15+4=26.

From the above, the word “God” in English has the numerical value of twenty-six, and in Chinese the number of strokes in Pan Gu’s name is also twenty-six; this is not a coincidence.  When in The Path of Life Master Ou tells us Pan Gu the 26th is God, is the Creator, people might think it is a myth, a legend, a fairy tale—but now the reality of language shows it is true.  We can now derive the following few points:

  1. Pan Gu and God are the same.  What Chinese call Creator Pan Gu is what Westerners call God.  Pan Gu is God; Pan Gu is Creator.

  2. The Path of Life tells us that Pan Gu the 26th is the twenty-sixth personification of “Pan Gu the Great” and created our human world.  Because Pan Gu the 26th is the Creator of this world, this universe, this mankind, everything in this world was created by him.  Within the myriad things, languages are of course included: both Chinese and English were created by Creator Pan Gu the 26th.  So he arranged that both the English word “God” and the Chinese characters for Pan Gu have the numerical value of twenty-six—which also further proves that languages are not created by human beings but by Creator Pan Gu and bestowed on mankind.

  3. Both American and Chinese and all other nationalities are actually brothers and sisters.

  4. More interest things we discovered that : (1) The total number of English alphabet A---Z is 26: (2) English speakers everyday say OK. OK is most commonly used speech in English. The order in alphabet O is 15, K is 11, altogether is 26. That hints 26 is good , God is good, Creator Pangu is good. Everyday we worship Pan Gu. All of these we thought also might prove that languages were created by Creator Pan Gu 26th. And all of these secrets are enlightened only after the treasure book the Path of Life came to this world.

Apart from these points, Donna of our reading-notes group discovered on the Website of the Roman Catholic Church this picture (photo attached) of Saint Mother Mary the Perpetual.  On her head she is wearing a crown.  This crown is decorated with no more or less than a total of twenty-six diamonds and gemstones.  Of course, by reading The Path of Life, we naturally understand that this arrangement was also by Creator Pan Gu the 26th.

Here we have the secret of why Pan Gu Mystical Qigong is so effective: when we recite the above two phrases within out heart, we absorb directly energy from heaven.  And also we learn that if one tempers one thoughts, sublimates one’s spirit in a serious way, then Pan Gu Mystical Qigong can actually cure any kind of disease—because Master Ou’s method for doing this qigong represents a creation of Pan Gu the 26th.

Another thing we know is that Pan Gu Mystical Qigong has not conflict with any religion, and that in fact it is not a religion.  This qigong advocates kindness and benevolence, wishes that everyone has good health, and along the way shows in The Path of Life how people can temper themselves to enter the splendid future eternal world.

Actually, since 9/ll in 2001, Pan Gu the 26th has revealed this special number, 26, in many cases reported in newspapers to attract people’s attention.  If you observe carefully you will discover this phenomenon.

The first two “Reading Notes”—1 and 2—merely explore the relationship between the myriad things and Creator Pan Gu the 26th; later we will offer a formal estimation of The Path of Life.
