We attended the 5^th International Conference on Qigong 

The 5^th International Conference on Qigong was held on November 3 to 6, 2006 at the Montien Riverside Hotel in Bangkok Thailand. About 200 representatives from 22 countries attended the conference. Master Ou and 30 PGSG instructors from China, Indonesia, Canada, and United States were invited to attend the conference. Master Ou gave three excellent speeches to the audience, and he also won three awards: best papers, best Qigong Master, and outstanding contribution. 

On November 4, Master Ou gave a speech on introducing Pan Gu Shengong. He started his speech by singing his song along with sending qi/energy to the audience. His relaxing and creative speaking style activated the whole atmosphere of the meeting right away.  

On November 5, Master Ou gave a speech on his papers, “the Recovery of Several Patients with Various Kinds of Cancer Proves the Function of Qi in the Human Body”, “Help Patients with Heart Diseases Gain New Lives”, and “the Application of Pan Gu Shengong in the Treatment of Rare Genetic Disorder in Children”. He vividly explained the essence of Pan Gu Shengong and addressed the gist and examples on his papers. Four of the live examples on the papers who recovered completely by practicing PGSG from various fatal diseases were at the meeting with Master Ou. Master Ou introduced them to the audience respectively. Looking at these four healthy and happy persons, all audience gave them a warm applause, and some took photos on them. On November 6, Master Ou was invited to get a speech on introducing the developing situation of Qigong in the United States while ten something other people were to introduce the qigong development in other countries. He pointed out that, “Generally speaking, American people have better reception to qigong than Chinese people, that’s because when facing the knowledge new to them  American do not have as much trammels of conventional ideas as Chinese people have!” (Big applauses) 

Professor Kasem in Bangkok was one of the honor hosts of the conference. After he saw Master Ou’s first talk at the Qigong Conference, he decided that Master Ou was the best Qigong Master at the conference.  So he left his honorary seat in the front row of the conference and went to sit by Master Ou for the rest of the conference, and then learned PGSG during the conference.  

There were 6 awards set by this conference. Master Ou won 3 of them. They are the best papers, the best qigong Master, and the award for his outstanding contribution respectively. 

The conference was successfully ended in the afternoon on November 6. The next conference will be held in Russia.
