Good Luck after Adversity

First of all I would like to express
with emotion my great gratitude to Pan Gu Shengong and our
respected Master Ou!
It is Master Ou who has brought good
health to me and guides me on my new way of life, giving me a
rebirth into my second existence.
On July 29th, 1998, a
motorcycle ran into me while I was walking. As a result I
instantly lost consciousness.
On the following morning when I woke
up, I found that I was lying in the hospital, surrounded by
doctors and nurses and my family. Later, while slowly regaining
consciousness, I learned that I had been given first-aid treatment
after the accident and had been unconscious for twenty-four hours.
I was diagnosed with a brain concussion and fractures of the
brain and eye orbit bone. My brother, a Pan Gu Shengong
practitioner, asked the doctors’ permission for me to leave the
hospital. I became worried—would I be able to manage the
situation? My brother said that Pan Gu Shengong could save me and
asked me to feel at ease.
Actually, he had previously advised me
to become such a practitioner, but I didn’t have enough belief in
it, so I found excuses, saying I was too busy. But how could I
become conscious so quickly, in less than only two days? When I
came to realize that it was my brother and my sister-in-law, along
with some other Pan Gu Shengong practitioners, who had been
continuously delivering qi to me for forty-eight hours and
that it was the mystical force that really worked effectively, I
decided to leave the hospital.
After leaving the hospital and
returning home, my brother said that I did not have to ask the
driver to pay for my medical expenses and that he had given him
the fare to get home, telling him to pay more attention in the
future to driving safely. I could not understand why my brother
did that. The driver should have been responsible for my medical
expenses. But my brother told me that the driver didn’t mean to
hit me; it was just an accident. Although I didn’t understand
very well, I merely accepted things as they were, convinced that
money was not everything—as long as I could feel okay. Being a
man, I should be kind. When my problems were solved, my brother
returned to Guangzhou and I stayed at home for a good rest. I
managed to go back to my work in ten days.
I work as a bank teller, counting
money and keeping accounts every day. After the accident my
eyesight became obscured, so my work was very difficult for
me—also because of the pressure. Later, in October, 1998, I
became a Pan Gu Shengong practitioner too. I tried to stick to
the behavioral standards that accord with the principles or
philosophy of Pan Gu Shengong: “Practice in the interests of the
whole society; practicing is essential, understanding is power.”
I practiced at least ten times a day and read books and also
articles written by Master Ou.
But in less than one month I was
suddenly in a befuddled state and could not speak clearly; the
injured right eye frame became atrophic and concave; my right hand
lost its maneuver function, and I could not walk stably on my
right leg. This really made me feel baffled. Why, after I
practiced the exercise, was the situation becoming worse rather
than better? I was very worried that I would become disabled. My
parents, my wife, and my son all asked me to go to see doctors,
but I telephoned my brother in Guangzhou and he told me that what
was happening was the result of qi working on the injured
parts of my body and that it would take me some time to recover
from this situation. I came to understand that I had absorbed the
essence and energy from the universe after I practiced the
exercise and that the energy had then worked on the injuries.
Then some colleagues came to visit
me. They were very surprised to see me in that situation and
insisted that I should go to the hospital for a check-up. In
order not to worry them, I phoned my brother again and he told me
I could do as they wanted me to.
The next day, my son and his friend
accompanied me to the hospital. The doctors felt surprised, for
they had not expected to see me. And they told me that my
situation was probably due to not receiving timely treatments and
that I would probably become paralyzed if I didn’t pay enough
attention to getting treated.
I told the doctors that I needed some
time to get ready for the treatments and, after returning home,
told my parents that nothing was serious and that I would soon
recover. After discussions with my brother and my sister-in law,
I decided not to stay over in the hospital.
Encouraged by my brother, I kept on
practicing—more than fifteen times a day—and read books very
earnestly and after ten days or so I felt much better. I became
more confident and kept on doing the same things. Finally, in
less than a month of not taking any medicine or spending any money
on it, I completely recovered from all the adverse conditions.
Pan Gu Mystical Qigong has really worked wonders on me. It’s
really incredible!
Through this experience, I have come
to this understanding: we should persevere in practicing,
continuously taking in the essence from the sun and the moon. We
should read The Path of Life time and again and also study
over and over the theories and philosophy of Pan Gu Shengong as we
try to make ourselves harmonious in body and soul, so that we can
enhance continuously our moral quality and our constitution, get
rid of sickness and improve our health, develop our intelligence
and live a harmonious life. If we can maintain good health and
strong vitality,we
can work well and live a better life; we can face life’s problems
more bravely and make greater progress.
Through the years I have become
stronger and stronger and more energetic, and I have learned how
to give others qi treatments. For the first time I gave my
nephew who had the problem of kidney stones a qi
treatment. In Hong Kong X rays of his kidneys showed that he had
three rice-size kidney stones; he had wanted to come to Guangzhou
for electrotherapy, but my brother told him that Pan Gu Shengong
would work effectively, so he came to my family for help. I told
him that I would give him qi treatments. If they worked
well, it would be the great power of Pan Gu Shengong. If they
didn’t work well, that would mean I hadn’t exerted enough effort.
Several days later, after dozens of qi treatments, he told
me that his kidney pain had disappeared and he felt more
comfortable. After he returned to Hong Kong, he went to the
hospital for a check-up while feeling serious pain in his kidneys,
but he was told that the kidney stones were gone (the pain was the
result of the passing of the kidney stones), so he felt very
excited and happy; he phoned me and told me all about it.
Now his wife and his younger brother
and his wife have also become Pan Gu Shengong practitioners. His
granddaughter-in-law also had the problem of kidney stones, and
she has recovered after being given qi treatments. The
same is true of some other patients with TB problems, and most of
them have now become Pan Gu Shengong practitioners.
Because of the practice I see that
love, confidence, and perseverance are the keys to curing people
of sickness by means of qi treatments.
Giving qi treatments to others
represents a way of delivering love to others and is also a way of
tempering one’s tolerance or patience. It also makes Pan Gu
Shengong more widely known and is a good way in helping others
become Pan Gu Shengong practitioners.
Now I persevere in doing the exercise
every day and in trying to make my own conduct consistent with the
behavioral standards of Pan Gu Shengong. I always keep in mind:“Take
kindness and benevolence as basis, take frankness and friendliness
to heart; speak with reason, treat with courtesy; act with
emotion, accomplish result”; and I adhere to the “the five
practices” as I try to cure people of their sicknesses and to
contribute to society.
I also have a better understanding of
the great role of tolerance. As a way of behaving tolerance
represents kindness and moral cultivation; it is the golden key to
resolving all problems in the world. It is a good way to reform
the world and to improve ourselves.
I want to express my sincere thanks
from the bottom of my heart to Master Ou and to Pan Gu Shengong.
We have benefited greatly from practicing the exercise and will
make greater efforts to help more people become healthier and
stronger and live happier lives.
May this way of goodness flourish day
by day!
