Pan Gu Shengong Recommendation
Michael Udel, Dallas TX
I was curious enough to attend
the seminar given by Master Ou the evening before he taught Pan Gu
Shengong to a group in
Portland
in February of 2002. During the question and
answer period I decided I wanted to try this qigong, and, after
practicing daily for three weeks, I noticed that my mental
reflexes were faster than usual when playing sports. I attributed
this change to the Pan Gu Shengong practice even though I was
surprised to notice any difference in how I felt after such a
short period of time. The effect on my mental speed, although
difficult to describe, was obvious to me.
I continued my daily practice because
I wanted to discover what other effects the qigong would have. I
realized the chronic and painful headaches I’d been suffering for
over two years were not as frequent or severe, and, when I got a
headache, I could practice the qigong and it caused the pain to
decrease or disappear entirely.
Several months of practice had
convinced me that Pan Gu Shengong was worthwhile because of the
help with the headaches, and also because I felt more calm and
peaceful overall since I had begun practicing qigong. As I
continued to practice, I gradually felt more confident about the
qigong, and, the more regularly I practiced, the better I also
felt physically.
In October of 2002 I traveled to
San Francisco
to learn the non-moving form of Pan Gu Shengong
from Master Ou, and, since I have been practicing it consistently
with the moving form, I have had only one headache. I performed
the moving form three times until the headache stopped. Another
benefit of qigong is that my skin heals much faster now from
wounds than before I practiced Pan Gu Shengong. I used to get
lots of cuts and scrapes from mountain biking that took a long
time to close, but after ten months of qigong my skin now heals
very fast. I am hopeful that other small and large health
benefits will result from my continued practice of qigong.
It has been almost a year since I
first learned Pan Gu Shengong so I can speak from my own
experience to recommend this qigong as a method to improve and
safeguard your health, as well as assist you to feel peaceful and
calm in your daily life. There are many important principles and
ideas associated with this exercise that I learned gradually from
practice and reading Master Ou’s book, Pan Gu Mystical Qigong.
I now value those ideas and principles as highly as the exercise
itself, and I can say that Pan Gu Shengong has had a profound
beneficial effect on my health and attitude. I am grateful to
Master Ou for the many years of difficult work and perseverance
required by him to develop this qigong.
