I love every song written by my father, Mr. Ou WenWei. Every song brings me unique feeling and enlightenment. Among them, “What is Love” is one of my favors. Whenever I don’t feel calm, no matter if I feel irritated, impulsive, sad, angry, disturbed, or when I start complaining or worrying about personal gains and losses, as soon as I listen to the song “What is Love”, my mind comes down. It makes me feel like my heart and soul are broad open, feel like I was melted into the vast infinite universe, and was cuddled by the most pure and sacred love.
I’m a happy and optimistic person, but once a while I will still run into some small emotional issues. I basically can smooth it out quickly by reciting the motto of PanGu ShenGong or doing one PanGu Shengong exercise. Therefore, I never had a chance to realize how powerful the song “What is Love” would be. The past two weeks, I had been stirred by a matter. I was able to calm myself down for a little while by doing PanGu Shengong practice and talking to myself with reasoning. However, it didn’t last long. Finally, I thought of “What is Love”. As soon as I listened to the song, I was grounded and calm, and no longer bothered by the matter.
The song is so powerful because it conveys the truth and power of love. “What is love? Love is respect and devotion…love is as generous as sunshine, warmly caring and freely giving, tolerant, deeply affecting…always in position, firmly in place, transcending haughty, worldly ways…only through our persistent labor can we enjoy its sweet, rich, intoxicating fruits…within true love’s realm, neither narrow-mindedness or discontent, only the requirement for tolerance and understanding…” (please visit

In order to gain true love, we must contribute our true love first unconditionally—“This, then, is love—real love, noble love: the love that leads to beauty and happiness forever”!
