Mini Retreat on May 24 with Master Ou
Please join us for the upcoming “Special Topic Lectures” along with the special qi infused group practice on May 24 online via zoom!
Master Ou would like to offer individuals the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the theme “Becoming a Broad-Minded Person”. During these lectures Master Ou plans to examine the significance and benefits of cultivating openness, guiding attendees on how to expand their perspective. He will help students recognize the manifestations of broad-mindedness and apply this understanding to qigong practice and daily life, fostering a generous heart to achieve greater results with their soul and heart cultivation – thus optimizing health and well-being.
Schedule of events on May 24:
- Special Topic Class I — 9am to 10am Pacific Time
- Moving Form Marathon — 10:15am to 12:15pm Pacific Time
- Special Topic Class II — 3:30pm to 4:30pm Pacific Time
You may just sign up for only one of the three events above, but we highly recommend you attend all of them to make a unique powerful healing day for yourself.
These lectures will build upon the material taught in the “Enhancing Your Moving Form Practice”, on April 26, in which Master Ou introduced three methods to improve the quality and effectiveness of qigong practice, which can also be understood as three essential mindsets for practice. He stated, “If these methods are applied well, they will lead to the best possible results in any endeavor.”
1. Practicing with sincerity, focus, and attentiveness
2. Practicing with the mindset of “seeking without force”
3. Practicing with a calm and joyful state of mind
Master Ou dedicated significant time to explaining the importance of sincerity and attentiveness and how to cultivate true concentration. When discussing “seeking without force,” he emphasized that this approach nurtures a broad and open heart. As one develops greater tolerance and generosity, this inner growth inevitably leads to physical improvement as well.
A unique feature of the upcoming May 24 event is the opportunity for immediate practice. Following the first lecture at 10 a.m., there will be a two-hour group practice session with special qi infused, allowing participants to immediately apply the lessons learned in the lecture to refine their mindset and enhance their practice. As such, the two lectures and the practice session are collectively referred to as the “Mini Retreat.”
While participation in the group practice is optional, we strongly encourage you not to miss this valuable opportunity—register now for these special lectures with Master Ou!
