Testimonial:

Since the day I was born I have been blessed with love, comfort, and opportunity, but never experienced true health and vitality. My reality suffered extremely limited energy levels. The constant tug-of-war between feeling stress and sickness with desiring health and productivity began to rule my daily life and by my mid-20’s my quest for wellness began. I researched possible conditions, causes, preventions, and cures through the avenues of friends, family, and western medicine; I changed my diet and exercise; I sought alternative medicine and professional advice. Ultimately this journey of information and help afforded me some physical comfort and much gratitude, but I still held the same questions unanswered, and more! At this point, despite having no diagnosable illness, I managed to find difficulty getting through an entire day without weak spells. Some days were defined by weak spells and feelings of utter worthlessness.

What was true health? I was beginning to see that it went beyond the physical body.

So I ventured into more spiritual fields, where Yoga, Reiki, and Qigong broadened my horizons. They taught me that thoughts, hopes and dreams are very real medicine; they showed me that we can channel good health to other beings through intention; they simplified for me the concept of health as ‘vitality’ and disease as ‘lack of vitality’.

With each practice and exercise that I tried, I felt my spirit lift, my hope blossom, and I began to realize this concept of vitality for myself. But my search pressed on, knowing there existed a practice even more effective and more all-encompassing, until I took Master Ou’s Pangu Shengong Moving Form class at the Sivananda Yoga Retreat in Nassau, Bahamas. Without truly understanding, I gave this one practice precedence over all other practices, returning to its mystery daily like a student to a teacher. Pangu and Master Ou redefined for me the philosophy of fostering good health through good intention by the simple practice of kindness, and they developed the most simple and efficient exercise I have encountered to harness essential qi for strengthening the human body.

Since 2010 the PGSG method and philosophy have revealed and given me what I have been seeking: a vibrant energy to carry me through the day, good health to guide me on my life’s path, pieces that fit perfectly into the great metaphysical puzzle of creation and purpose, and with these things, strength and serenity.

Reason for Teaching:

I embrace Yoga, Reiki, various styles of Qigong and breathwork, including them in my regular personal practice. Pangu Shengong is the only exercise I do every single day, no matter what, because I know that this method enhances all other practices, provides the foundation of my vital energy level, and continually reminds me of the most important spiritual practice of mankind: kindness. Of all practices I am familiar with, I find Pangu Shengong to be the simplest, most profound and consistent with daily life and purpose, and most forgiving and unconditional.

I no longer spend my valuable resources like time and energy on questions and concerns over my health. Instead I practice PGSG, count my blessings, and wish for others the same peace through such simplicity. I consider the ability to pass on the power of the PGSG Moving Form method to those who seek health, happiness, and harmony one of my great blessings.
