PROFILE

Gary Reeves has the privilege of being certified by Master Ou to instruct both the moving and nonmoving forms of Pangu Shengong. Presently he is a resident of Alaska and spends his summers in a remote cabin in Lake Clark National Park, Alaska. Winters are enjoyed in South Florida. Gary is a retired AeroSpace Engineer, a pilot and an active Taijiquan participant.

Introduction to Pangu Shengong

Early in this century friends began to suggest the benefits of practicing Pangu Shengong. Frankly, I was already doing another qigong and as satisfied with the practice and result,but in March of 2004, while in the Alaskan bush, I had a sense of a need to change this thought. I regretted that the opportunity to experience Pangu Shengong was passed for another year; however, contact with Olivia allowed me to learn the moving form by correspondence. I wish the eloquence to explain the immediate improvement from the old qigong. In May of 2004 I also learned the nonmoving form practice by correspondence. After that any time I was outside ( of Alaska) I started taking every opportunity to attend directly Master Ou’s lectures, instruction and hearings. ( with great personal benefit).

On Becoming an Instructor

Several of my friends were diagnosed with terminal cancer. I wished to help and thought if I could instruct that they might survive or lead longer heather lives. I failed. Somehow, I was unable to convince any of the families to learn the Pangu Shengong and the medical community expectation was final. With regret I realized my talent as an instructor was to guide people into interest in Pangu Shengong, and learning directly from Master Ou on his visits to Florida, or from my situ Dimitri Mougdis. Helping students who were not practicing or did not understand the practice was also rewarding.

Now, I hope to contribute more by offering the nonmoving form to those who can not be schooled by Master Ou directly.
